Christina began her post-secondary studies in 2009 at Mount Royal University - first studying communications and then social work. Hoping to help others through connection, she found herself returning to the medicine of her childhood and roots. She then moved to BC in 2018, where she began her TCM training. With over 550 hours of supervised clinical acupuncture experience, she completed her studies at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC - receiving her diploma of Acupuncture.
Christina approaches each treatment with gentle care, active listening and an open mind & heart.
She employs traditional needling techniques, auriculotherapy, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, food as medicine ( Shi Liao ) and self-care recommendations.
She has a special interest in: digestive health, emotional/mental well-being, addiction, anxiety, insomnia & women's health. She continues to further her knowledge with self-study, seminars, conferences and workshops. Her current studies of interest include topics on cancer & pain management.
